| Note:
The IS4225 is optically the
same as the IS4220. The difference
is in the firmware and the
processor used. Metrologic
has upgraded the unit’s
firmware to include more functionality
and add the ability to flash
upgrade units in the field.
The IS4225 is backwards compatible
with the IS4220 and supports
its feature set and means
of serial programming. However,
the configuration manual that
ships with the IS4225 is different
than the IS4220 to accommodate
the new firmware. Any questions
about the IS4225 or IS4220,
